Elizabeth "Liddy" Huntsman de Hernandez

Liddy lives in New York City with her husband, Eduardo and their two sons, Harrison and Hunter. The name Hungry Gringa developed when Liddy was living in the Dominican Republic and as a foodie, she was on a quest to find the best food on the island.
At the age of 8, Liddy was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes and has lived life having a very complicated, tumultuous relationship with food, which was made even more complicated when she was diagnosed in 2016 with Celiac disease - resulting in giving up everything with gluten.
Liddy graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2011. After graduating, she hopped on her dad's 2012 Presidential Campaign. During that time, she started the twitter account @jon2012girls with her sisters Abby and Mary Anne. From there they created humorous viral YouTube's and 140 character tweets showing a different side of politics. Ever since that experience, Liddy has been involved sharing her voice through different media platforms. She recently received her Masters in Media Studies at The New School in New York City.
If Liddy isn't cooking, you can usually find her doing stand up at a local open mic.
"I was a foodie before Celiac and I want to continue being a foodie!"
